Students in 5th  and 6th grade can choose to play the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, or trombone. Alternatively, they can become a part of the percussion section. Other, less common, instruments are also available to those who ask about them. Students continue learning to read and interpret written music individually and as a group. Performance opportunities include end of year and special event concerts, as well as solo ensemble in the Spring.
